CAPTAIN'S MEETING:

WEIGH-IN:
LOCATION: Chain of Lakes Park
DATE: April 5th, 2025 @ 4PM

Tournament Rules:

- Lines in at 7:00 A.M. no earlier.
- Max teams of 2 per vessel, kayak, or land.
- No charter captains for hire.
- All fish must be caught on rod and reel using artificial lures.
- Submit photos before 4:00 P.M. to: (954) 999-7599.
- All pictures to clearly prove length of fish with tournament ruler in each photo entry.
- Photo of fish to clearly show fish flat on ruler (do not place ruler ON TOP of the fish, instead lay the fish on top of the ruler) with a closed mouth at zero mark and pinched tail at peak length.
- This tournament is ARTIFICIAL ONLY. No live bait/chum allowed.
- Photos of each fish must have artificial lure used in photo.
- Fish must be whole and in healthy standing for entry.
- Any fish determined unclear will be disqualified.
- Total length of one (1) Redfish and one (1) Spotted Seatrout entry per team.
- Total length is calculated for Spin Division by your team’s single biggest Redfish up to 30” and single biggest Spotted seatrout (no limit).
     + For example, if you catch-and-release a 32” Redfish the length only counts as 30”.
- Total length is calculated for Fly Division by your team’s two  biggest Redfish (no limit).
- Longest of the combination wins.        
- Catch-and-release is encouraged but ultimately up to the angler if they follow all FWC species regulations.
- The boundaries are as follows: North boundary- South Causeway Bridge NSB, South boundary- A. Max Brewer Bridge Titusville (see boundaries map)
- Teams caught fishing outside of the boundaries will be disqualified.
- Fishing in/on NASA property is NOT allowed.
- Fishing afoot or on kayaks is allowed.
- Teams of 2 anglers afoot or in the same kayak may be formed but must be within shouting distance of each other throughout the day.
- Must make it back to weigh-in at Chain of Lakes Park Trailhead Pavilion no later than 4:00 P.M. SHARP! NO EXCEPTIONS!
- All anglers are required to have a fishing license and abide by all rules of the water.


WEATHER: The decision to fish is solely the captain's choice. All anglers fish at their own discretion and risk regardless of weather. If the tournament rules committee determines it is unsafe to fish, all cash awards will still be presented by randomly selecting boat numbers at the weigh-in (must be present to win). No entry refunds.
